Embroidery Linen ‘Sotema’

This beautiful, medium weight Italian linen is perfect for crewel embroidery and is my linen of choice for many of my smaller crewel work pieces.

The smooth surface, firm weave and excellent quality of the fibers is a beautiful and stable backdrop for woolen yarns. The fabric is equally well suited for counted work and general surface embroidery.

I have the linen available in two pr-cut sizes: 

* Pillow Square: 45cm x 45cm square (18″ x 18″)

* Fat Quarter: 50cm x 90cm wide (20″ x 35.5″)

* Colours: Antique white, Ecru

* Even-weave: 38 count (20L)

* Composition: 100% Linen

* Expected shrinkage: 4-5%
