Rosehips is a designed as an introduction to Crewel work. It is a perfect little project for beginners and those with little embroidery experience.
Rose Hips is stitched using some of the most common embroidery stitches and easy crewel work techniques. The flower is embroidered using a palette of fresh blues with splashes of bright red berries and a few yellow accents, for a more contemporary look.
The kit includes everything you need to complete the embroidery and the detailed instructions and diagrams will help guide you step by step through the project.
The size of the fabric panel makes Rose Hips suitable for a decorative pillow insert or you may like to use it as a decorative pocket on a work bag.
I hope you will get as much pleasure embroidering your Rose Hips as I did.
Happy Stitching, Anna
