These terms and conditions form the basis on which you can visit us and our website. Please read them carefully as they contain important information.

By using this service, you agree that you will not attempt to undermine the integrity of this website.

 

Availability

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. If the goods you have ordered are not available in stock, we will contact you by email or phone (if you have given us details). You will have the option either to wait until the item is available from stock or to cancel your order.

Colour accuracy & Kit materials:

We aim for all our customers to enjoy our products, by providing carefully packaged kits, with clear and detailed instructions. We will always endeavour to describe our products honestly and accurately.

  • We aim to depict colours and textures as accurately as possible in kit instructions and on our website. However, colours naturally vary between different computer screens, between web and printed images and reality.

  • We reserve the right to substitute materials in kits for an alternative of equivalent quality if required, due to issues with supply from manufacturers.

  • Metallic threads: these are packaged in acid-free bags, to assist resistance to tarnish. However, exposure to extremes of temperature, humidity, handling and storage over time, can cause the threads to tarnish. On completion of a metal thread embroidery design, threads may tarnish over time. This is an inevitable part of working with metal threads. We hold no responsibility for this process and will not replace these threads.

  • If you lose or damage any kit item, or wish to re-work an area you are not happy with, we will willingly replace or supply more for you but there will be a fee to supply and post these items.

Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without our permission. You may not modify, distribute or repost anything on this website for any purpose.

Digital Downloads are for personal use only. Your purchase does not transfer copyright. You will not forward, duplicate or sell the instructions or design using Anna Scott Embroidery patterns.

Delivery

We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. This address must be accurate. Please be precise about where you would like the goods left if you are out when your order is delivered.

  • We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered following your delivery instructions (unless this is caused by our negligence). 

  • While we make every effort to ensure that your parcel arrives at the correct destination, there are factors outside our control. In the event of your parcel being damaged or going astray and not being insured, we will not be held responsible.

  • In situations where your package has gone astray because we have made a mistake with your address, we will replace the order free of charge, but the responsibility for supplying the correct address does however lie with you.

  • Customers must notify us if the order has not been received within 35 days from the day the order was shipped. Beyond 35 days after shipping, we no longer hold responsibility for tracing or replacing missing parcels.

Returns & Refunds

We strive to deliver the best possible kits, so please contact us if you have an issue with your order and we will do all we can to solve it.

  • We can only accept returns of items that are faulty, damaged or mis-described. We do not accept returns due to cancellation or a change of heart.

  • Please always get in touch before returning an item so that we have agreed to its return and can expect delivery.

  • Refunds can only be accepted within 14 days of receiving the product. Returned items should be returned new, unused and in original packaging, and must be packed securely to avoid damage during return.

  • Parcels are returned at your own cost. Returned items must be sent by tracked post. Please always obtain proof of posting, as we can only be responsible for your parcel once it has been received back at the Studio.

  • Refund will be issued only on receipt of the returned item in its original saleable condition.

  • Postage will only be refunded where the item is returned due to being faulty, or damaged before dispatch, or not as described.

  • Successfully returned items will be credited to the card used when placing the order, less any shipping costs, international taxes or import duties incurred. For payments made by PayPal, refunds will be credited to your PayPal account and will be visible immediately. Reimbursement time to the credit card associated with your PayPal account depends on the company that issued the card.
