** INTERMEDIATE **
This project is most suitable if you a little experience with crewel work and want to further develop your skills and try a few different stitches.
The size of the Scarlet Glory panel makes it perfect for a decorative pillow or work bag, but it looks equally pretty framed.

YOU WILL NEED
· 45cm (18”) square of ivory, medium-weight linen
· 19 shades of Appleton's crewel wool
· 50cm (20”) wide slate frame, cotton tape and lacing thread
(OR 35cm (14”) embroidery hoop with deep sides and the inner ring bound)
· Fine fabric marker or very fine acid-free permanent pen
· No. 3 crewel needle
· No.1 milliners needle
