PDF Download - TULIPA BIRD, Crewel work pattern

$15.00
The TULIPA BIRD crewel work panel measures 15cm x 20cm wide (6" x 8").
The size of the panel is perfect for small pouch to hold your needlework accessories, but would also work well as a framed piece, as a pocket on a tote bag or an insert on a cushion. This crewel work project is fabulous, if you have done a bit of crewel work and want to try a few different stitches.

The PDF pattern includes:
* Full size embroidery design
* Instructions for design transfer and preparation
* Detailed and clear step-by-step instructions
* Colour diagrams
* Close-up photographs
* Thread conversion to Appletons crewel wool

YOU WILL NEED
* 30cm (12") square of 45-count ivory linen
* 11 Cascade House shaded crewel wool (conversion to Appleton's included)
* No. 4 crewel needle
* 22cm (9") embroidery hoop with the inner ring bound
* embroidery scissors

The TULIPA BIRD panel was the first pieces I designed inspired by the pattern on an old Hungarian plate - only stitched in much brighter colours. The embroidery is worked on 45-count Italian linen with fine shaded crewel wool.

I hope you will get as much pleasure embroidering your TULIPA BIRD panel, as I did.
Happy Stitching
